  . artist's statement
Lynne Chinn, an award winning graphic designer and professional oil painter began creating and installing luxurious mosaic surfaces since 2001. She has designed, produced and installed commissions as small as 12" square or as large as 6' high x 72' wide.

When Lynne works with designers, architects, public art committees, and homeowners to develop the concept for a mosaic, she will consider
and discuss the style, color, textures and andamento (the flow of the tesserae) that will be expressed in the mosaic.

From vitreous glass and smalti to marble, Lynne uses the finest materials possible from around the world to create her beautiful and enduring
handcrafted works of art.

Her inspired fine art mosaics are represented in private homes and in public places all over the United States.
